Shanghai Trip - ReportUTSAAMC recently made a historical trip to visit Shanghai UTS Alumni in China from 13-19 January 2007. The journey took us to three different cities including Hangzhou, Suzhou and our last stop in Shanghai. Our Malaysian contingent also visited the three campuses of Shanghai University, which is a partner of University of Technology Sydney. The three campuses located at Zhabei, Baoshan and Jiading suburbs. Sydney Institute of Language and Commerce (SILC) is a collaboration between University of Technology Sydney and Shanghai University, which runs an English language school, teaches foundation programs for UTS degree courses, and delivers a very successful Shanghai University-UTS Dual Program of Study in Business Studies. The trip was even more exciting when UTS Malaysian alumnus, Ms. Lai Khai Ming (who lives and works in Shanghai) joined us for the visit to Shanghai University and the networking dinner. We had a tour around the campus and we were so thrilled with their huge and breathtaking Baoshan campus. We had an excellent fellowship and super-networking dinner with UTS Shanghai Alumni in the evening. We wish to thank the following people for their contribution towards the success of this trip:
